The Solo and The Strokes

Rock band The Strokes are back in the recording studio working on their fourth album, but they’re doing it without the presence of lead singer Julian Casablancas. Casablancas had left the band to pursue a solo career, but he will be adding his lyrics and vocals to the group’s tracks later into the recording process. In the mean time Nick Valensi, Albert Hammon, Nikolai Fraiture, and Fabrizio Moretti will be creating the art without his input.
“I’m pretty opinionated. I’m not pushy to the point where it’s my way or no way. I felt if I wasn’t in the room, and wasn’t saying that, they could spread their wings, if you will.” - Julian Casablancas (only slightly arrogant)
