Music Meeja

One last video for now, just because I like this song. “Don’t Even Trip” by Peeping TomIt’s kinda funky groovy stuff.  The band is lead by Mike Patton and to my knowledge they have only released one album along with a couple singles.

    Much Ado about M.I.A.

Earlier today, several websites were leaking a new track from M.I.A. titled “Born Free”. As of right now, you’ll be lucky to find the track as most of them are being removed from sites. But you can try going HERE to listen to the MP3. The song has more of a punk rock sound to it than her previous work. Her new album will be released on June 29th this summer.

M.I.A. was also sharing love for the Sleigh Bells recently:

T”he new Sleigh Bells album epitomizes how kids are feeling in America –- so much energy, but nothing to do with it. Everyone wants you to be an apathetic consumer over there, so it’s cool to have some weird discomfort going on.” -M.I.A.
